Central Control announces support for NDI^®

Central Control announces support for software-driven IP workflows using globally standardized video-over-IP technology, NDI^®.

Central Control joins the industry’s largest, and rapidly expanding, IP ecosystem of products and companies committed to enabling IP-based customer workflows. Central Control will integrate NDI into the Elite version of the flagship Central Control application, to be recognizable as a source by other NDI-enabled applications and devices connected across standard Ethernet networks.

Central Control 3 Elite’s PTZ Control allows control of up to 8 PTZ NDI enabled cameras from a wide range of supported control surfaces. In addition, preset recall is made fast an easy with the frame grabber, which will use NDI to grab a still frame from the camera to represent each preset.

In addition, the brand new Central Control Teleprompter also benefits from NDI output. This allows the teleprompter to output to be used in IP production workflows with ease. This joins a host of other NDI enabled modules application such as the Rundown Clock that has the ability to send its production clocks to NDI.
